Watermelon Ginger Gin and Tonic


If you’re looking for the perfect end-of-summer drink, look no farther. Gin and tonics are always great in the summer, but replacing your usual lemon or lime with ginger and watermelon will give you a whole new perspective on this classic drink.

Watermelon Ginger Gin and Tonic

  • Ginger Root
  • Watermelon chunks
  • 2 oz. Gin
  • Ice
  • Tonic

  1. Slice off a few coin size pieces of ginger root and place them in the bottom of your cocktail shaker.
  2. Add 2 oz. Gin. Muddle with wooden spoon.
  3. Add watermelon chunks to shaker and let rest 30 minutes to an hour.
  4. Pour your gin mixture over plenty of ice. Fill the rest of your glass with tonic water.
