If you’re looking for the perfect end-of-summer drink, look no farther. Gin and tonics are always great in the summer, but replacing your usual lemon or lime with ginger and watermelon will give you a whole new perspective on this classic drink.
Watermelon Ginger Gin and Tonic
- Ginger Root
- Watermelon chunks
- 2 oz. Gin
- Slice off a few coin size pieces of ginger root and place them in the bottom of your cocktail shaker.
- Add 2 oz. Gin. Muddle with wooden spoon.
- Add watermelon chunks to shaker and let rest 30 minutes to an hour.
- Pour your gin mixture over plenty of ice. Fill the rest of your glass with tonic water.
